Dear partners, sponsors!

It was a great year 2019 for the Vorarlberg Santic team – without exaggerating the most successful in the team’s 21-year history.

We are grateful for a lot of what we were able to experience, and above all grateful for the numerous support from many sides to be able to do cycling in this form.

Many and sporting thanks to all partners, sponsors, press and media representatives for the cooperation in this year!

We wish you a happy and blessed Christmas and a good transition to the new cycling year 2020!

It has been worked in the last few days again a lot in the team. With 17 professionals in the squad, we take on the new season as biggest team in the Continental league for 2020 season.

New in the team three strong riders!

Alexis Guerin (27) from France, an absolute performer from the Pro Continental category joins the Vorarlberg team. In the season 2019 he works for Team Delko Marseille.

In addition, Canadian Jack Burke (24) should play a major role for next season. He is really strong in the mountains at longer climbs.

They are supported in 2020 by the young Luxembourg Raphael Kockelmann (20).

Alexis Guerin (FRA / 27 Jahre):  “I am very happy to be part of Team Vorarlberg Santic 2020. For me, it’s an advance in my career! I come with a lot of motivation and big goals. We have a good team, excellent material and very professional staff. Now I just want to race fast. ”

Jack Burke (CAN / 24 Jahre): “This season I invested a lot in my career, getting used to life and racing in Europe and becoming a more versatile rider. I am confident and feel comfortable especially in the difficult races which we will be riding in 2020. I look forward to contributing my experience and strengths to the team. Vorarlberg Santic offers me all the possibilities!“

With these three riders the team roster is complete. The motivation is still high in the knowledge that each year starts again and the cards are shuffled. The professionals are now preparing for these tasks in the coming weeks. The start of the racing season is already starting very prominently with a Pro Series race, the nine-day tour Tour of Hainan in China.

The team Vorarlberg Santic wishes a sporty and contemplative Christmas time!

Claudio Imhof (SUI), Joeri Stallaert (BEL), Felix Meo (NZL) and Johannes Schinnagel (GER) are switching to Team Vorarlberg Santic!

Earlier this week, the annual team come together took place for the upcoming season. The squad  was guest at the partner hotel on Badersee in Grainau at the foot of the Zugspitze (the highest mountain from germany). The focus was on the internal planning process, some race planning details, as well as numerous discussions between the athletes, Staff and the material partners present who presented their product innovations and improvements in an impressive manner.

“Team Spirit towards 2020 was more than noticeable on these very varied days. The team management and all team members agreed in unison that they have a very broad, strong squad at the start. Now it is eager and serious to continue working over the winter. Then we can hope for a similarly successful season as 2019.“

Thomas Kofler – Team Manager

Team 2020 continues to take shape – new, well-known riders back in the squad!

In addition to the ten already announced riders (we informed last week), two riders come first to the team, which had already overstretched the jersey in previous years. Claudio Imhof SUI / 29 years (in 2012 in the Team) from Switzerland and Joeri Stallaert BEL / 28 jears (2018).  Two riders with great experience and quality on classic terrain, sprint and individual time trials. Imhof is in the Olympic squad of Tokyo!

Besides the returnees, the strong German allrounder Johannes Schinnagel / 23 years and the young New Zealander Felix Meo / 22 years are new. These two riders also have great potential and the team is happy about the commitment.

The currently 14 man squad will be expanded again to serve the second race program optimally. This is a clear sign in terms of promotion of young talent at Team Vorarlberg Santic, so that continuous further development is possible.
