And the Vorarlberg Santic team is currently starting with the best line-up. That will also be necessary, because you will find strong Pro Continental teams such as Arkea-Samsic, B&B Hotels Vital Concept, Androni-Sidermec, Team Rally, among others. Some teams are preparing for the Tour de France. The Tour starts at 5th and ends at 8th August.

After his horrific crash at 70 km / h in Croatia at the GP Kranj last Sunday, the Frenchman reports fit back for his home tour over the Col de Madeleine and other first-class Alpine passes.
In addition to Guerin, captain Roland Thalmann, Colin Stüssi, Lukas Meiler, Johannes Schinnagel and Jack Burke complete the squad.

Finally racing again – so the unanimous tenor in the 150 man field yesterday at the GP Kranj in Slovenia. 30 (!) Teams with five riders each were admitted to the UCI 1.2 race over 157 kilometers.
Alexis Guerin as the most aggressive driver gets overall sprint classification!
Maximilian Kuen sets off the start attack, but is put back. Six men of the top group were said after just a few kilometers. The Vorarlberg Santic team with the French legionnaire Alexis Guerin will be there. And he occupied the entire field around the Pro Conti Team CSF Bardiani. The group around Guerin was only put up ten kilometers from the finish. Guerin takes three sprint ratings and thus also this special rating.
Lukas Meiler tries solo in the finale because there is no pronounced sprinter in the ranks of the Vorarlbergs. The German is also brought back under the dictation of speed by CSF Bardiani and Jumbo Visma.

“Roli” Roland Thalmann is getting better and faster and is second in Martigny behind Italy legionnaire Simon Pellaud (Androni Sidermec) at the swiss Championships of mountain climbing!
It could have been a medal for Claudio Imhof in the time trial, but it shouldn’t be. After a fall, the rail specialist finished tenth. Colin Stüssi placed 13th, Roland Thalmann became 17th winner Stefan Küng (Groupama-FDJ) ahead of Silvan Dillier (Ag2R).

Yesterday the final on the roof of the Hart and Härter Challenge. From Sölden up to 2674 meters – the Rettenbachferner glacier. Summery temperatures at the start of the top ski destination – a stone’s throw from the snow at the finish. All set for the showdown for the overall victory.
In a thrilling race over 12 kilometres, the Swiss team captain Roland Thalmann was able to improve his performance once again. In the race, which was also broadcast online on Eurosport, “Roli” placed second. The winner is Riccardo Zoidl (AUT), who had a 48 second lead today. Jonas Rapp (GER) is third. Colin Stüssi is sixth today, Jack Burke eleventh and Max Kuen 20th!

Roland Thalmann placed himself as best Team Vorarlberg Santic rider on the excellent third place. The winner is Riccardo Zoidl (AUT) from Team Felbermayr Simplon Wels ahead of the German Jonas Rapp (Team Hrinkow Advarics). Behind Stephan Rabitsch, Colin Stüssi is a great fifth.

Nine days – nine federal states – from lake to lake – from stage to stage = “Austria spins on the wheel”!
From a simple idea a huge project was born in Corona time. Within a few weeks, this nine-day TV show was first conceived and then implemented in an exemplary manner. Studio K19 and Pro Event Cycling Sports GmbH (Team Vorarlberg Santic) were able to perfectly stage a completely new format. Top-class sports met mass sports with Max Kuen and Friends at the top, plus numerous tourist regions with their focus on cycling. Also, the bike shop and other partners could be inspired for this project. The reward: An incredible media interest with a broad coverage in words and pictures over almost two weeks. Thanks to all participants and the whole crew – but also to our new TV star Max Kuen😊!

The last stage of Team Vorarlberg Santic Profi Max Kuen and Friends will be broadcast tomorrow Saturday on https://k19.at from 14 – 18 o’clock. The start will be in St. Anton am Arlberg – the finish will be in Bregenz directly at the world biggest sea theatre stage.
Fourth and fifth place at Pernsteiner flies on the steepest mountain in Austria!
Who doesn´t know it in the cycling scene – the Kitzbüheler Horn. Some love it, many pay more than respect for this increase in violence to the Alpenhaus at 1670 meter above sea level. Gradients of up to 22% speak their own language. These are the ingredients of the second “Hart und Härter” Challenge in Kitzbühel today. Everything is embedded in wonderful summer weather.
Pernsteiner flies to the Kitzbüheler Horn – Thalmann, Stüssi and Burke are fully on target!
2nd start, 2nd victory – Bahrain-McLaren professional Hermann Pernsteiner is in his own league in the “Hart & Härter” challenges. In sunshine and perfect bike temperatures, the 2nd “Hart & Härter” Challenge followed on the Kitzbüheler Horn. The Ö-Tour runner-up Hermann Pernsteiner did not let anything go from the start and won with a respect gap of 31.7 seconds on ex-tour winner Riccardo Zoidl (Felbermayr Simplon Wels). Third place, 50.2 seconds behind, landed like yesterday at the opening at Großglockner Jonas Rapp (Hrinkow Advarics Cycleang). Fourth and fifth place went to Roland Thalmann and Colin Stüssi, two Vorarlberg Santic pro riders. They were only a few seconds away from the podium. Jack Burke improves to ninth. After traveling 160 kilometers, Max Kuen will be a good 20 with his TV show participation by “Max Kuen & Friends”.

Grand finale on the roof of the tour in Sölden!
Tomorrow is the third and last “hard and tough” challenge. Start in Sölden and then up into the eternal ice to the Rettenbachferner. The goal is after 11 kilometers at 2803 meters directly in the Ski World Cup ski stadium. The Ötztal Glacier Road is the highest point in the Alps that can be reached – another novelty of “Austria is on the bike”!
