Alexis Guerin takes sprint classification at GP Kranj UCI 1.2!
Roland Thalmann second in the Swiss Mountain Championship 2020!
Finally racing again – so the unanimous tenor in the 150 man field yesterday at the GP Kranj in Slovenia. 30 (!) Teams with five riders each were admitted to the UCI 1.2 race over 157 kilometers.
Alexis Guerin as the most aggressive driver gets overall sprint classification!
Maximilian Kuen sets off the start attack, but is put back. Six men of the top group were said after just a few kilometers. The Vorarlberg Santic team with the French legionnaire Alexis Guerin will be there. And he occupied the entire field around the Pro Conti Team CSF Bardiani. The group around Guerin was only put up ten kilometers from the finish. Guerin takes three sprint ratings and thus also this special rating.
Lukas Meiler tries solo in the finale because there is no pronounced sprinter in the ranks of the Vorarlbergs. The German is also brought back under the dictation of speed by CSF Bardiani and Jumbo Visma.
Then a crash and also Guerin has to hit the ground shortly before the goal. He can take part in the award ceremony, but will probably have to undergo further examinations!
The Dutchman Kooij (Jumbo Visma) wins ahead of Fortin (ITA / Felbermayer) and Franczak (POL / Voster). Colin Stüssi finishe on 13th position!
