Team Vorarlberg again in tenth place by Colin Stüssi – Pure suspense before tomorrow’s mountain finish of the Int. Upper Austria Tour UCI 2.2

 

For tomorrow’s grand finale of the 13th Int. Upper Austria tour a fireworks display of the aspirants for the overall victory is expected. As many favorites as never before are in waiting position before the mountain finish on the 1400 meters high Höss in Hinterstoder.

 

Lukas Meiler moves up to eighth place in the overall standings

Today’s stage from Wels to Bad Leonfelden (129 km) was again decided in a sprint. The overall leader Timo Kielich (Team Alpecin-Deceuninck Devo) was in a class of his own. He wins ahead of the Czech Jakub Otruba (ATT Invest). Colin Stüssi is again tenth.

Cabedo (16th), Rüegg (18th) and Meiler (25th) also held their own without losing any time. Lukas Meiler moves up to eighth place in the overall standings.

In the team ranking, the Vorarlberg team is in fourth place.

 

So Team Vorarlberg has four cards to play before tomorrow’s very difficult stage with many climbs. However, the competition is also as big as never before.
