Team Vorarlberg takes lead in Cycling League Austria – Stüssi and Rüegg with double podium after impressive performance in Wieselburg
It was a show of power today for Team Vorarlberg against the competition from Austria in the first race after the Tour of Austria at the 51st Erlauftaler Radtage. Only Emanuel Zangerle was a blink of an eye faster in the sprint for the day’s win than the Tour of Austria’s overall fifth-place finisher Colin Stüssi. Stüssi was also named the most active rider of the 161-kilometer race.
Team Vorarlberg takes the lead in the Cycling League Austria!
Especially the team unity was impressive in the fourth Cycling League race. Behind the two escapees Lukas Rüegg completes the podium with a solo ride. Jon Knolle finished fifth, Moran Vermeulen twelfth. Thus, the Vorarlberg team also wins the daily team classification and takes the lead in the team classification of the league. Lukas Rüegg ranks third in the individual ranking.

Jon Knolle second at Int. criterium in Wieselburg – Dominik Amann in fifth place
At the Town Hall Sprint of Wieselburg, the traditional criterium through the alleys of the fair city of Wieselburg, Jon Knolle showed his class. He finished second behind winner Paul Buschek (Team Tirol Cycling). Strong also Dominik Amann. The young Vorarlberg rider finished the 45-kilometer race in an excellent fifth place!
