Colin Stüssi extends his contract with Team Vorarlberg!
Early Christmas present for Team Vorarlberg! Portugal Rundfahrt overall winner Colin Stüssi continues with Team Vorarlberg!
This is the best news Team Vorarlberg could wish for before Christmas. Colin Stüssi, the 30-year-old Swiss rider from Näfels, is extending his contract after the strongest season of his career and will continue to attack for the Vorarlberg team in 2024.
With the extension of Stüssi’s contract, the squad is now complete with 14 riders. The stage and overall winner of the 84th Volta a Portugal UCI 2.1 in August this year has big plans for the coming season. Knowing him, his motivation is already huge.
“I’m really looking forward to racing with Team Vorarlberg again in 2024. Although I had offers from various teams, I opted for Vorarlberg. Because I think we can still achieve a lot with the team after last season. With the structure and the family atmosphere, it’s still the right team for me.
I want to build on my performance from the 2023 season next year. Then we’ll see what we can achieve.
The goal for the team is certainly to build on last year’s performance and team spirit. And that as many riders as possible get the chance to perform at their best in the races.
I’m currently preparing for the new season at home, just like last year.” so Colin Stüssi

Diverse and broad-based team – five Vorarlbergers in the line-up
The broad-based squad includes a selection of experienced riders who will hold their own in the mountains and on stage races. Above all, however, the team also wants to have an important say on classic terrain in 2024. For the first time, five young riders from Vorarlberg will carry the colors of the local team into its 26th year.
Race calendar, equipment and lots and lots of training …
The management has been working on the race calendar for weeks. Meanwhile, all the riders work hard in preparation for their form. The team mechanics are busy setting up the BMC race bikes. As far as this sector in particular is concerned, we can already say “… we are right at the front here!”
