Stüssi in fifth place after top team performance in the first stage of the 11th International Tour of Upper Austria

On the first stage from Wels to Maria Schmolln Colin Stüssi, who is strong again, fights his way to fifth place. The Swiss showed his most active side during the 164 kilometre long stage with 2200 metres of altitude difference and was happy about this exclamation mark at the finish!

Guerin and Moreno at the same time as overall winners!

About 20 riders finished behind today’s winner Daniel Turek (Team Felbermayr Wels). Among them are Stüssi (5th), Guerin (15th) and Moreno (22nd). Thus they hold three trumps in their own hands.

AND – Team Vorarlberg takes the lead in the overall team ranking!

The motto today was not to make up time in the overall classification – the score will be settled at the end. This target was met today! Tomorrow the second stage over 143 kilometres will follow!

Watch it live again from approx. 11.30 a.m. on www.k19.at
