Filippo Fortin with a perfect Prolog at th 18th Int. Istrian Spring Trophy UCI 2.2 – Place 5th!

Filippo Fortin with top speed on fifth place at the prologue of the Istrian Spring Trophy in Croatia!

Team Vorarlberg had a very good start at the 18th edition of the Istrian Spring Trophy UCI 2.2 in Croatia. With only one second behind and a speed of almost 50 km/h Filippo Fortin raced to fifth place in Umag.

On the good one kilometer long “lactate party” also the other Vorarlberg professionals came through well. Schinnagel was only 3 seconds behind in 32nd place at the finish. The entire field of riders with 174 starters from 17 nations of course all close together. The Dutchman Lars Boven (Jumbo-Visma Devo) won ahead of Lars Uhlig (GER/Rad-net).

Tomorrow the first stage with a terrain for a possible sprint. In any case a good starting position for the fast Team Vorarlberg sprinter Fortin.
