Final standings at Alpes Isère Tour and Fleche du Sud with mixed feelings!
All risked – nothing collected at Alpes Isere Tour UCI 2.2 / Fleche du Sud UCI 2.2 – Lukas Rüegg finishes Tour in 14th place.
The final stage of the Alpes Isere Tour from Entre-deux-Guiers to Allevard-les-Bains, hard as a pimple with 4500 meters of altitude and seven juicy climbs. 80 kilometers Reutimann, Thalmann and Ganahl have made the race really hard, all driven from the front that the leader has fallen out of the lead. Then Zoidl and Guerin set the pace in the lead. In the stupidest moment at the end of the second last climb rear wheel failure of Zoidl. Thus Guerin was left to himself, no chance in the final to counter the attacks.
Thus, also today nothing was to be reaped in France. Guerin finished 16th overall, Zoidl 22nd.
