Vorarlberg Santic Pro Matteo Badilatti finishes on second place after a great Week at Tour de Savoie Mont Blanc UCI 2.2! Davide Orrico wins mountain overall classification – Roland Thalmann combination rating!

It was the expected heavy final stage from Bonnneville to Cluses over 138 KM and a good 3000 meters in altitude. Patrick Schelling and Matteo Badilatti finish in 11th and 13th place. In the overall Riccardo Zoidl the Austrian Ex-Trek Segafredo rider wins the tour after a similarly strong week. Matteo Badilatti is second best overall and can credit 30 UCI points. Patrick Schelling also strong with two stage wins (!!) and eighth in the overall standings!

If you pick up two out of five jerseys on a tour, then this is a decent reference on such a heavy round trip. Especially since the occupation with the five Pro Continental teams (any from them are starts at Tour de France) was also very good. Davide Orrico left nothing burning today, as did “Roli” Thalmann. Patrick Schelling is second in the points list!

Behind the French Pro Continental Team Fortuneo Samsic, the “Squadra” from Vorarlberg will be an excellent second in the team ranking after five days and 13,000 vertical meters. Lukas Meiler and Manuel Bosch also finished the tour after great teamwork. Many pro riders finished the race early.

The direction to the Int. Tour of Austria is right – the team is on fire in Feldkirch on July 7. Before this stage race, next week the riders are in fight for national championships!
