Max Kuen takes the first victory in the eCycling League Austria!

Team Vorarlberg FAN-TV starting Friday!

Exciting until the end the fifth race of the eCycling League Austria initiated by the Austrian Cycling Federation. Team Vorarlberg pro Max Kuen won after a tactical race in the sprint of a larger group and broke the dominance of Stefan Kirchmair. Kuen presented himself in the virtual race on his ELITE roller trainer at home in Kufstein, always in front and was able to win the final sprint for himself. Second is the German Jonas Rapp (Hrinkow Advarics-Cycleang), ahead of the previous series winner Stefan Kirchmair (AUT/Kirchmair e-Cycling). Kuen rode only the third race, but is now already in fifth place in the overall standings of this very intensive race series.

What else is going on with the riders?

Kuen is working hard on cross-country skis, as are Roland Thalmann and Colin Stüssi. Filippo Fortin finds quite good temperatures in Italy, as well as Adria Moreno and Felix Meo in Spain. Numerous team colleagues (Amann, Stari, Schinnagel, Meiler Lukas and Martin) fled from the snow masses in the alps and are on training camp in Cran Canaria. Although under somewhat more difficult conditions due to Corona, they still want to be well prepared when it starts with the road races on Europe’s roads. As difficult as it may be, the current planned start of the season is the beginning of March with the UCI races in Istria.
