At today’s UCI one-day classic on the Mediterranean island of Rhodes (UCI 1.2 category), the pros got to know the entire island. Once around – in total 185 kilometres with start and finish in Rhodes town.
Right at the beginning of the race there were numerous attacks and several leading groups, in which the Team Vorarlberg pros were always well represented. However, none of these groups was able to break away decisively from the field.
Shortly before the finish the peloton was closed again and everything was set for the sprint of the day.
