YES! Moran Vermeulen wins in Ranshofen – Team Vorarlberg dominates league race and takes the lead in the team classification!

 

Today’s race over 140 kilometers as part of the Braunauer Radtage was the second last competition of the Cycling League Austria. In two weeks then the final of the Cycling League 2023. The goal was to reduce the gap in the team classification to Team Hrinkow Advarics and to take the form from Portugal with them.

 

Like a gang of brothers to victory!

It seems that everyone has digested the exertions of the Tour of Portugal well. The Vorarlbergers were the dominating team especially in the finale. Always on the lookout, Moran Vermeulen attacked irresistibly in the last section of the race and got away with three rivals. In the field, Team Vorarlberg then from the front. In the uphill sprint of the super fast race (46 km/h average), Vermeulen wins ahead of Emanuel Zangerle (AUT/Felbermayr-Wels) and Paul Buschek (AUT/Tirol KTM Cycling).

In fifth place already the next Team Vorarlberg pro with Lukas Meiler. Dominik Amann follows in tenth place ahead of Lukas Rüegg. Jon Knolle in 16th place completes the strong performance!

 

Team Vorarlberg takes the lead in the team ranking – Moran Vermeulen already in second place in the individual ranking

With this brilliant result Moran Vermeulen moves up to second place in the individual ranking behind Jaka Primozic (SLO/Hrinkow Advarics). Lukas Rüegg follows on rank six.

Before the last race in Königswiesen on September 10, Team Vorarlberg has taken the lead in the team ranking. For many years they have now again the best prospects of success in the Rad Bundesliga. BRAVO BOYS!!!!

Dominik Amann on rank three at the City Sprint of Braunau!

At the evening criterium yesterday in Braunau the race had to be shortened to a sprint race because of a strong thunderstorm. Very strong the Vorarlberger Dominik Amann. He placed third behind the German winner Florenz Knauer (Team 54×11) and Emanuel Zangerle (AUT/Felbermayr-Wels)!
