The squad for the coming season is taking shape. With Dominik Amann and Laurin Nenning, the two local Vorarlberg riders have extended their contracts for 2024 at an early stage. The team management can announce a first strong new addition with the young German Jannis Peter. He should be particularly suited to the tough tours and long climbs.
A real boost for the tours – German mountain champion Jannis Peter new to the squad
The 23-year-old German, who lives in Buchenbach in the Black Forest, won the German U23 road championships in 2022. This season, he repeatedly performed strongly in the stages of the Tour of Austria and finished 22nd overall. He finished the Int. Oberösterreich Rundfahrt UCI 2.2 in tenth place overall. In the German national league races, he consistently placed at the front and secured the German mountain title.
“I’m really looking forward to becoming part of Team Vorarlberg. But I’m particularly looking forward to the tough races and mountainous tours that make up the team’s calendar. Dominik Amann in his seventh year with Team Vorarlberg!
The 24-year-old from Vorarlberg began his elite career with Team Vorarlberg back in 2018. Dominik Amann has developed into a strong and team-oriented rider, especially over the past two years. With almost 5,000 kilometers of racing, he made it into the front row of the team.
“I’m really looking forward to being part of Team Vorarlberg in 2024. I want to improve personally once again for our joint success. Youngster Laurin Nenning with a focus on further development
In his debut year in the elite class, the 18-year-old from Weiler in Vorarlberg showed great ambition. Racing alongside his apprenticeship is challenging. Nevertheless, the second half of the season showed a continuous forward development. Nenning will continue to work on this.
“I expect to finish the national league races in Austria and support my teammates as best I can. Due to my job, I have to adjust my expectations accordingly, I will work hard and look forward to a further improvement. One goal would also be to race for the U23 national team in an international race,” says Laurin Nenning

Leaving the Vorarlberg team ….
… the Spaniard Oscar Cabedo. The Spaniard was able to sign a lucrative contract with the strongest team in Portugal due to his good performance at the Volta Portugal.
