Chaotic second stage of the SKODA Tour de Luxembourg UCI 2.Pro!

 

After problems on the first kilometres of the second stage of the SKODA Tour de Luxembourg, the stage was neutralized until the final laps in Hesperange.

The stage was restarted in Syren. Two laps on the final circuit around Hesperange had to be mastered. Attack after attack right from the start. None of the riders could break away from the peleton.

 

The Frenchman Arnaud Démare (Groupama – FDJ) won the sprint ahead of the Belgian Jasper Philipsen (UAE-Team Emirates) and Alexander Krieger (Alpecin-Fenix) from Germany.

 

Roland Thalmann is the best placed Team Vorarlberg Santic rider in the overall classification ten seconds behind the overall leader Diego Ulissi (UAE-Team Emirates) from Italy.
