A big tour for the season final – Roland Thalmann opens Croatia Tour UCI 2.1 with rank 16!
The line-up (including the World Tour teams Jumbo-Visma, Bahrain, Team Bike Exchange, Israel Start-up) could not have been better for the last Tour for Team Vorarlberg this year. At the ever stronger developing tour over six stages in Croatia have enrolled numerous top stars such as Simon Yates, Mikel Landa, Matej Mohoric. All stages are broadcasted live on Eurosport TV.
Today to start immediately the “monster stage” from Osijek to Varazdin over 237 kilometers on mostly flat terrain along the Hungarian border. At the end of the day, the riders’ tachometer showed a riding time of 5h 52min.

The Swiss placed 16th in the bunch sprint of the peloton and was not dissatisfied. “We looked to get through in one piece and not lose any time. These are quite dangerous stages. Our section comes on Saturday, there it goes into the mountains and here we will once again get everything out of us!”
Winner of the stage Phil Bauhaus (GER/Bahrain Victorious) ahead of Olav Kooij (Jumb-Visma) and Kristoffer Halvorsen (Uno-X).
