Roland Thalmann with big performance at the Sibiu Cyling Tour on fourth place!

Wildauer takes the Reither Kogel Trophy!

 

Another really good Sunday for Team Vorarlberg. Roland Thalmann provides with rank four on the second stage at the Sibiu Cycling Tour UCI 2.1 in Romania for a great result. Also Alexis Guerin and Adria Moreno, as well as Lukas Meiler and Colin Stüssi show a strong team performance as already yesterday at the prologue. In addition, Markus Wildauer wins at the Reither Kogel Trophy in Tyrol!

 

Thalmann with fourth place in the top ten overall!

Winner of the stage from Sibiu on the Platteau to Paltnis over 178 kilometers the Italian Giovanni Aleotti (BORA-hansgrohe) ahead of his renowned compatriot Fabio Aru (Qhubeka-NextHash). Two seconds behind was Russian Sergei Chernetski (Gazprom-Rusvelo). Roland Thalmann in fourth place as the best Continental rider at the same time as the Russian. Thus, Thalmann is now also in the top ten in the overall standings.

Tomorrow is the queen stage with the mountain finish on Balea Lac. Here could still go something!

Markus Wildauer wins in the elite class at the Reither Kogel Trophy!

The young Team Vorarlberg pro showed after his 10th place at the GP Lugano last weekend again today a strong performance. He wins at this classic mountain race in Tyrol after 550 meters of altitude and six kilometers in 19 minutes 46 seconds, three seconds ahead of Felix Engelhardt (Team KTM Tirol). In fifth place Daniel Ganahl ahead of Nikolas Riegler, Max Kuen and Linus Stari.
