Team is ready for final mountain stage at Tour de Hongrie UCI 2.1!
And Jakub Mareczko again! Tomorrow Granada will be playing for the overall standings on the difficult final stage of the Tour de Hongrie UCI 2.1!
Four out of six Team Vorarlberg Santic professionals (Thalmann, Guerin, Stüssi, Kuen) came today with the first group around the sprint winner Jakub Mareczko (ITA / CCC Team) to the finish in Kazincbarcika after 180 kilometers. At 1000 meters from the finish, another crash in the field, but this time fortunately without Vorarlberg participation. They deliberately held back today because Martin Meiler, the young and fast man was in the race, but had to let go just before the final. After his fall two days ago, everyone in the team was surprised at how confidently Meiler put it through.
Behind Mareczko, Liepins (LET / Trek-Segafredo) finished second, ahead of van der Poel (NED / Alpecin-Fenix).
