Team Vorarlberg also present on Eurosport on day four – Linus Stari with a great performance in the leading group – Alexis Guerin takes the lead in the mountain classification!
The fourth stage of the six-day tour led the participants along the coastal road from Biograd na Moru to Crikvenica over 219 km.
In changing weather conditions, Team Vorarlberg riders were again represented in the leading group today with the young Vorarlberg rider Linus Stari.
Shortly before the last sprint in Novi Vindolski, the group merged with the peloton. On the very twisty final lap, Alexis Guerin once again scored valuable points for the mountain classification.
Lukas Meiler still in top position among the world class!
The sprint of the day was won by the Frenchman Axel Laurance (B&B Hotels – KTM) ahead of Jonathan Milan (Bahrain – Victorious) and Matej Mohorič (Bahrain – Victorious).
Lukas Meiler from Team Vorarlberg finished at the same time as the overall leaders of the Tour. By scoring points in the last mountain classification of the day, Alexis Guerin was able to take the lead in the mountain classification. A great partial success!
Tomorrow, Saturday, the royal stage from Opatija to Labin follows over 154 km with 2920 metres of altitude difference. A decision in the overall classification is expected here.
