Team Vorarlberg Festival in the national league! Lukas Meiler wins solo at Erlauftaler Radtage!

Lukas Meiler prolongs strong form with solo victory – Team Vorarlberg dominates national league race in Lower Austria

The Bregenz Festival officially opens on July 20th. Already today the Team Vorarlberg pros held their own festival in Wieselburg at the fourth race in the austrian national league. In the very difficult race, Lukas Meiler won in impressive style after 135 kilometers and a riding time of just under four hours. The 27-year-old from Oberammergau (GER), won solo ahead of Austrian Moran Vermeulen, last year’s winner of the league from Team Felbermayr Wels. Also strong today Colin Stüssi. He comes in third and completes the podium!

With Roland Thalmann (4th), Mathias Reutimann (6th) and Dominik Amann in ninth place, three more Vorarlbergers placed in the top ten and won the team classification. Dominik Amann was already a good ninth at the nippy evening criterium yesterday in Wieselburg.

Team Vorarlberg on the advance in the league table

In the first races they were often numerically inferior. Today Team Vorarlberg improved from fifth to third place in the team standings. Likewise Mathias Reutimann is on rank three in the individual intermediate ranking.
