Team Vorarlberg super strong and active at first stage of UCI 2.Pro Race 29th Tour of Slovenia!

29th Tour of Slovenia UCI 2nd Pro – Team Vorarlberg shows up at the first stage until the final in the concert of the World Tour Teams

Team Vorarlberg showed a very strong performance at the start stage of the Tour of Slovenia with finish in Rogaska Slatina. The supposedly clear sprint stage claimed some victims due to the hard riding and crashes, including Antoine Berlin, who nevertheless managed to finish the race.

In the peloton, 100 riders finish, including all other six Team Vorarlberg pros. Jon Knolle is the best placed rider around 30th place, losing the golden rear wheel of today’s runner-up Phil Bauhaus (GER / Bahrain-Victorios) shortly before the finish. There would have been a lot possible.

At the beginning the riders from Vorarlberg attacked and it was Pirmin Benz who escaped from the peloton in the leading group. After this group was put back, Team Vorarlberg showed itself united at the front in the midst of the World Tour teams. This makes you want more in the next days.

Lukas Meiler attacked again in the final, but was also put back. The sprint of the peloton is won by Dutchman Dylan Groenewegen (Team Jayco Alula) ahead of Phil Bauhaus and Italian Matteo Moschetti of Team Q36,5.

Tomorrow the second stage over 163 kilometers with finish in Omoz. From the paper form again something for the fast people, but the stories of the stages write the riders themselves!
