Top Ten by Colin Stüssi on first stage of the Int. Oberösterreich Rundfahrt

Team Vorarlberg with tenth place by Colin Stüssi on target after opening stage of the Int. Upper Austria Tour UCI 2.2

 

It could have been today on the first stage from Eferding to Geinberg over 181 kilometers, also a podium. The last group around Colin Stüssi was at odds, was thus placed. In the sprint of the peloton, the Swiss rider once again showed his form with tenth place. Close behind is his swiss team mate Lukas Rüegg in twelfth place. Oscar Cabedo finishes 19th.

 

Stage winner and new leader in the overall classification is the Belgian Timo Kielich (Alpecin-Deceuninck), ahead of the Dane Nicklas Pedersen (Team ColoQuick). Lukas Meiler is just behind in 18th place in the overall standings, while Dominik Amann, again riding strongly today, is in 25th place.

 

Tomorrow stage number two from Wels to Niederkappel over 130 kilometers.

Nikolas Riegler from Lower Austria continues to work on his rise in form. Yesterday evening he won the national championship mountain race on the local mountain of Bregenz, ahead of Neo Team Vorarlberg pro Laurin Nenning.
