Tour Alsace – Alexis Guérin sucessfully defends mountain jersey in the last stage – Adrià Moreno in 9th place!

The fifth and final stage led over 153.6 kilometers from Mulhouse to Berrwiller. The race was very fast from the beginning. After only two hours, the riders had already covered 96 kilometers. Despite the fast race, Alexis Guérin successfully defended the mountains jersey today!

And again there were several mass crashes on today’s stage. Team Vorarlberg rider Adrià Moreno also crashed 30 kilometers before the finish line. Thanks to another strong team effort, Moreno was able to continue the race and fought himself back to the front of the first group again. The race ended in a group sprint. In the overall classification Adrià Moreno is in a solid ninth place.
