Unbelievable! Victory for Alexis Guerin in the final stage of the Sazka Tour UCI 2.1!
Team Vorarlberg pro Alexis Guerin outdoes World Tour Teams and wins the last stage of the Sazka Tour UCI 2.1 – Riccardo Zoidl eighth overall – Team Vorarlberg third in team classification!
What a sensational finish for Team Vorarlberg. Alexis Guerin wins in impressive manner on the last stage of the biggest tour in the Czech Republic four seconds ahead of Michael Kukrle (CZE/Elkov-Kasper), as well as 28 seconds ahead of overall tour winner Lorenzo Rota (ITA/Intermarche-Wanty).
Riccardo Zoidl, Roland Thalmann and Colin Stüssi top in overall classification!!!!
And also in the overall ranking four riders show up in the top 30. Riccardo Zoidl becomes super strong eighth with 39 seconds behind winner Lorenzo Rota. With Roland Thalmann (16th), Colin Stüssi (19th) and Alexis Guerin (29th) there are three more riders in the top 30.

The again team performance was very impressive. Third place behind Intermarche-Wanty and Jumbo-Visma Development. Alexis Guerin rounds off a world class result with second place in the overall mountain classification. Congratulations to Team Vorarlberg including the support staff!
Immediately after the start of the fourth stage from Sumperk to Sternberk over 179.9 kilometers Guerin attacked and can break away with twelve other riders. 60 kilometers before the finish Guerin attacks again with Michael Kukrle. He also leaves the World Tour riders in the breakaway group behind and takes the victory with a final attack shortly before the finish in front of thousands of spectators in Sternberk! What a great day for Team Vorarlberg!

The second event of today’s Sunday was the fifth race of the Radbundesliga in Mattersburg over 179,4 kilometers. With rank 13 Martin Meiler was the best in the final standings. The winner was the Czech Karel Vacek of the Tirol KTM Cycling Team. Nevertheless, the young delegation was able to consolidate third place in the overall Bundesliga standings.
