Moran Vermeulen in fourth place overall at the 72nd Flech du Sud – Team Vorarlberg wins team classification and combined classification

 

Colin Stüssi was honored today as the most active rider of the fifth and final stage over 148 kilometers in Esch-sur-Alzette. His Austrian teammate Moran Vermeulen wins this special classification over all days. A testament to the offensive riding of the Vorarlberg squadra.

 

Vermeulen lacks one second on the podium

Colin Stüssi was the man of the day in the leading group today. However, this group is put back before the finish. In the sprint of the peloton Lukas Rüegg becomes 13th winner of the Frenchman Lucas Grolier (Vendee U). In the overall classification Pim Ronhaar (NED/Baloise) wins. Only nine seconds behind Ronhaar, Moran Vermeulen is fourth. The man from Ramsau is only one second short of the podium.

 

Team Vorarlberg best team – four riders in top 20

Meiler & Co. win the overall team ranking. In addition to Vermeulen, Oscar Cabedo (14th), Antoine Berlin (15th) and Lukas Meiler (18th) also placed in the top ranks.
